December already?!
Jack Frost has been etching on the glass outside the bedroom window for a fair few mornings now. Don’t you just love opening the blinds or curtains to the colours in the sky blurred behind the ice and frost?
Every day lately has been a warm sweater day and I couldn’t be happier. Pulling on a sweater to that instant warm, cosy feeling is one of my favourites.
I finally found the courage to get CE tested, and after a series of tests I’m beyond pleased to share that I’ve PASSED. All my children’s toys are now CE tested and the best bit is that nothing needs to change. My favourite yarn that’s been tried and tested from lots of years of play & hugs is the one I will continue to use.
What’s on the Hook?
The cutest Roux Rabbit. Long floppy ears and easy to grip little legs and arms. It’s such a cute little comforter. Each one will have a little personality as they have a hand-stitched face. I’m looking forward to creating colour combinations for these.

Whats just off the hook?
I’ve just finished the gorgeous Woollen Wood cardigan in cornflower blue for my nephews Christmas and I’m thrilled with it. It turned out so well! As soon as it was finished I started a pink version of the same design to add to the shop!

What’s Next?
Counting down to 10 days of family time in our little Christmas hideaway. A real Christmas tree twinkling in the corner, buying in all the M&S Christmas goodies, and nestling down to some Christmas movies with warm blankets and crochet. I’ve crocheted so much recently that I have no idea what to work on over the December break. I have a large yarn delivery due any day, so I’m tempted to start on a warm sweater for myself. Other than all the lovely family time, I can’t shake the excitement to get settled down with a lovely pot of Christmas blend coffee and a nice Cadburys yule log wedge… I mean slice, and setting up my new planner for the first quarter of 2020. I do love starting a planner. #stationarylover

Since my last blog post, my nephew arrived safely weighing a very healthy 6lbs 7oz. He, his mummy and daddy are all doing great.
Seeing my brother as a dad makes my heart melt.
See you all soon,
